Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the NoSqlStudio website at nosqlstudio.com and the related online services ("Service"), operated by MasterDatabase Ltda. By accessing the website, creating an account or purchasing a license, you agree to these Terms. Use of the NoSqlStudio desktop application itself is governed separately by the End-User License Agreement (EULA).

1. User accounts

Some features of the Service require an account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

2. Purchases and pricing

License prices are displayed on the website and may change at any time; the price shown at checkout applies to your order. Payments are processed by our payment providers (Stripe and Mercado Pago). Applicable taxes may be added. By completing a purchase you authorise the charge for the selected plan and quantity of seats.

3. License delivery

After your payment is confirmed, your license key is delivered electronically to the e-mail address provided at checkout. It is your responsibility to provide a valid e-mail address and to ensure our messages are not blocked. If you do not receive your license, contact marcos@masterdatabase.com.br.

4. Online license-validation service

NoSqlStudio includes an online license-validation service that confirms the validity and seat usage of license keys. The Service is provided on a commercially reasonable-efforts basis and may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or due to factors beyond our control. Where supported by your plan, the application also offers offline license verification.

5. Acceptable use

When using the Service you agree not to:

  • access the Service by automated means in a way that overloads or disrupts it;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, system or data;
  • interfere with, probe or test the vulnerability of the Service without authorisation;
  • use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent or infringing purpose;
  • resell or commercially exploit the Service except as expressly permitted.

6. Intellectual property

The website, its content, design, trademarks and logos are owned by MasterDatabase Ltda or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce or create derivative works from the website without our prior written consent.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free. This Section does not limit any consumer right that cannot be excluded under applicable mandatory law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MasterDatabase shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Refunds, where due, are governed by the Refund Policy.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Disputes shall be resolved by the courts of the consumer's domicile, as guaranteed by Brazilian consumer-protection law.
